You asked…ghd answers!

ghd experts answer your biggest hair worries

1. Do all ghd stylers work the same?
YES, our advanced ceramic and digital technology is featured in all ghd stylers to provide the most sophisticated styling iron available.

Features include:
·       Advanced ceramic heaters for the ultimate shine
·       Automatic temperature control for the perfect temperature on all hair types
·       Universal voltage so you'll always have beautiful hair no matter where you travel
·       Sleep mode which turns off heaters after 30 minutes for safety and peace of mind

2. What is the best hairspray for hold?

Celebrities, fashionistas and editorial stylists all agree that ghd Ultimate Hairspray is the best of the best! This quick-drying fine mist aerosol spray provides a firm and long-lasting hold to the hair, even in humid conditions. Adds shine and gloss to the hair without overburdening. Contains UVA protection.

3. How do I prevent dry and brittle hair from heaters inside the home?
I always recommend a daily leave-in conditioner during the winter months to eliminate static and provide the hair with extra moisture to prevent dry, brittle ends.

Try ghd Miracle Mist, which is a very light, leave-in conditioning spray for all hair types. It contains a blend of cationic conditioning agents which promote body and shine, manageability, condition and smoothness for shinier, stronger, static-free hair. Also helps reduce split ends and contains UVA protection.

Dreadlocks: hairstyle to try for Halloween weekend

Dreadlocks in 4 easy steps:

So you want to dress as your favorite Rastafarian, Rockstar or Zombie this Halloween but don't have 2 years to spare without brushing your hair? Here is how you get the look.

1. Start by taking a 2"x 2" section of hair and twisting clockwise from scalp to ends until the hair is twisted like a rope.

2. Now take your ghd styler and clamp the twisted hair between the plates for a few seconds, working your way all the way down the strand. The heat from the ghd styler will keep the hair in a twisted form.

3. Now with your thumb and index finger, pinch the hair lightly and push back towards the head along the twisted section, making the hair slightly frizzy.

4. Repeat this process until the entire head is complete and you have a full head of authentic looking dreadlocks!!  Oh yeah, and it all washed out easily with warm water and conditioner, have fun!

Weathering the Fall Season

How do you maintain your fall hairstyle in cold and rainy weather?

ghd's U.S. Artistic Ambassador Andy Bodine has the answer.

Cold and rainy weather can easily create a real mess of your hairstyle just as hot and humid weather can. Protecting your hair from absorbing external moisture is the key to eliminating frizziness and maintaining your hairstyle throughout the day.

The easy remedy for this is by using a
ghd styler to style your hair! All the stylers in the ghd styler collection have extremely high quality ceramic heaters which emit negative ions that seals the hair cuticle smooth, locking in the hairs natural moisture and locking out humidity! The ghd styler also locks in hair color, creates shine, eliminates static and provides a frizz-free, long-lasting style!

So don't let the cold and rainy weather give you the hair blues, fight back with the
ghd styler, you can do anything with your hair!
